On the occasion of Newborn Week celebration an international webinar was conducted jointly by NNF Gujarat State chapter and KMC foundation India on 19 Nov 2020.

KMC was originated in Columbia and one if the pioneer Dr Natalie Charpak from the hospital which began KMC spoke on the topic "KMC including Follow Up".

Another international speaker Dr. Nils Bergman from South Africa and currently at Karolinska University as a Research Associate, spoke on "The first 1000 days begins with the first 1000 minutes"

We also had Prof. Ruchi Nanavati and Prof. Rekha Udani speaking on the " KMC follow up program at KEM Hospital that they began more than two decades back.

We also had Dr Sumita Ghosh, Additional Commisioner incharge of Child Health at Government of India spoke on "Efforts to promote KMC follow up program and Early Childhood Development in India."

It was an extremely successful programme with 161 attendies. The programme continued for almost 2.5 hrs with lots of interaction by the participants.
