The new team of Gujarat NNF under the able leadership if Dr Mohit Sahni kick-started its first program on the 15 may 2020

On the occasion of International Kangaroo care awareness day , a fantastic symposium was organised jointly by Gujarat Nnf with KMC foundation along with AOP Gujarat .

The stalwarts in the field of neonatology who have done ground breaking work in the field of KMC were invited as faculty.

Due to Covid 19, it was held on the Zoom platform. Around 150 delegates attended the programme. We got to hear from speakers like Dr Suman Rao from Bangalore , Dr Ashok Deorari from Delhi , Dr Ashish Mehta from Ahmedabad , Dr Somshekhar from Karamsad and Dr Mohit from Surat.

The programme was very well received with the delegates promising to take the benefits of KMC to the general population
